I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Supervision of Individuals and Groups, which qualifies me to work with supervisees from a range of therapeutic modalities. I enjoy working creatively and collaboratively to gain new perspectives into client work.
Additionally, I hold an MA in Transpersonal Child, Adolescent and Family Therapy, and an advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I have had over 9 years’ experience as an Integrative Psychotherapist, working with a wide range of individuals and organisations, including schools and charities.
As an integratively trained supervisor, I offer compassionate and professional supervision with an optional creative element, to support newly qualified, as well as more experienced counsellors and psychotherapists, in your work with adults, children, adolescents, individuals and couples.
Following the BACP and NCS ethical guidelines, and guided by the ‘7-eyed model’ of Supervision, I work collaboratively with supervisees to support you to do the best for your clients in a safe and healthy way. I am trained in a number of modalities including: Person-centred, Psychodynamic, CBT, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Creative Art, EFT Tapping, Transpersonal, Existential, Solution-focussed, play and Sandtray therapy. Additionally, I apply my knowledge of attachment theory and neuroscience, where appropriate.
I believe that good practice comes not only through training, but also through learning from experience, including our mistakes, and from receiving the appropriate guidance and support when we need it. As human beings, we are all on a continuous journey of learning and improvement.
